Get your rhythmic groove on with Live Drumming, lead by teacher Leslie A. Yancey. Get fit, lose weight, lower stress - build strength, flexibility, endurance, and stamina. Have Fun!!! Dance to live drumming! Afrofusion Dance is West African based movement for men, women and teens with live drumming. Afrofusion is earthy, grounded and can be energetic movement. It embraces all physical abilities and diverse body types plus builds strength, endurance, stamina, and flexibility while having fun. No previous dance experience is necessary. Come and enjoy the rhythms and energy of live drumming while you move. Wear loose comfortable clothing that you can move in.
Leslie A. Yancey is a native of New Yorker. Her background is in modern dance, performance art, and West African dance. She has danced and toured with different artists and companies in the States, Europe, and South America. Leslie formed her own company, Yanceydance Theater in 1990 in which she was the artistic director for many years. She then moved into the healing arts and began studying West African and Haitian based dance.

This class is $10. Please bring cash or check. There is no pre-registration. Just show up!
Please note that both Leslie and Dancing Spirit Ranch will be doing their best to provide a safe environment for everyone, but due to the quick spreading nature of Covid-19, there is no guarantee that you will not come into contact with the virus. If you feel sick or have been around anyone that has been sick, please do your part and stay home.
