Give Thanks - Donation Based Yoga Series
News got you down? Us too. We wanted to find a way to rise back up from the darkness. That's when we came up with our donation-based yoga series. Each month this winter, we are going to offer a donation-based yoga class with a rotating teacher. All donations will be sent to a chosen non-profit. Together we can create a bit of community and give back to those that are spreading their light during the dark times.
Leading our next donation-based class is the lovely Andrea Bachman. If you are lucky enough, you have taken a class locally with Andrea in the past. Her approach comes from 10 years of sharing yoga with overwhelmed, highly responsible folks who long to boost energy, sleep better, and fearlessly love their bodies. She leans into the wisdom of Ayurveda to guide her practice. Andrea holds recognized certifications as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Yoga Health Coach, 500 hour Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Instructor, along with her BA in social science from the University of Michigan. Learn more about Andrea and the Fearless Self-Love Retreat (which we highly recommend!!!) at www.fearlessselflove.com.
The class will be an all levels grounding, nourishing, and motivating Hatha yoga class. As we transition from winter to spring, this class will keep you warm and supported while inviting you to open your heart, hips and mind to what's to come. Prepare yourself for the week ahead with this grounding 75-minute practice.
This month’s donations will go to the Center for Restorative Youth Justice (CRYJ), a non-profit in the Flathead Valley that promotes meaningful accountability, healthy decision making, and life skills development for teens. The CRYJ aims to provide our community’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged youth with access to healthy and productive futures. They are based in Kalispell, Montana and work with agencies, institutions and individuals around the nation to promote restorative responses to community harm.
